Darren Dolcemascolo is the President and co-founder of EMS Consulting Group, Inc., where he helps executive teams improve execution reliability: the ability to turn improvement activity, strategic priorities, and operating intent into sustained business results.
Since co-founding EMS Consulting Group in 2003, Darren has advised and supported organizations in healthcare, biotech, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, service, and related industries. His work focuses on helping leaders connect improvement efforts to business conditions, measurable value, leadership ownership, operating cadence, capability building, and disciplined follow-through.
Darren brings deep experience in Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, leadership development, and enterprise performance improvement. Rather than treating improvement as a collection of tools or events, his work helps organizations build the leadership discipline, operating systems, and problem-solving capability required to sustain meaningful performance gains over time.
Before co-founding EMS Consulting Group, Darren worked as an engineer, manager, and consultant across several industries. He is the author of Improving the Extended Value Stream and the forthcoming book The Execution Reliability Advantage, and has spoken at national conferences on operational excellence, Lean, outsourcing, and process improvement. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA with Graduate Honors from San Diego State University.
